Age of Elegance, acrylic on canvas, 20 by 20cm, £95
A still life of some favourite possessions with me getting excited about the painting of beads.

Age of Elegance 2, acrylic on canvas, 20 by 20cm, £95
Second in a series of still lifes using treasured objects from around the home, with a faded grandeur feel for times past.

Age of Elegance 3, acrylic on canvas, £95
Third is a series of still lifes from collected objects around the home. I really enjoyed the painting of the lacy edge of the vintage tablecloth here.

Hot Chocolate 'Special' , acrylic on canvas, 20 by 20cm, £95
A coffee shop near me makes meringues and they place a tiny one on every cup of tea, coffee, or indeed hot chocolate, that they serve. Someone I met regularly there always chose this drink, so I decided to paint it and also change the white cup and saucer for a vintage one. My favourite part of the painting was stippling on the chocolate powder sprinkle.

Turkish Still Life, acrylic on canvas, 20 by 20cm, £95
This still life is composed of some collectibles of mine. The centrepiece bowls with their tube-lined decoration were bought in Dalyan, Turkey, whilst on holiday there. With some of my jewellery and the coin belt from some previous belly dancing classes, they make up an exotic little collection for the painting.

Ceramic Pot With Seedheads, acrylic on canvas, 20 by 20cm £95
A still life study of a favourite ceramic pot of mine composed of tile patterns in a patchwork design, with honesty, poppy, and gypsophila seedheads.

Crassula and Crochet, acrylic on canvas, 20 by 20cm £95
I've grown crassula for years and I'm always astonished at how robust it is and how the leaf buds form so soon after cutting back the stems. I chose to place it on a section of a crocheted throw I'm working on, so bringing my painting, craft, and love of plants all together in the composition.
